raiSE: DRIVE

Enhancing Social Enterprise Inclusivity with raiSE and Consulus

HIGHLIGHTS

The Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE) is dedicated to developing the social enterprise sector in Singapore. As a key sector developer and membership body, raiSE supports aspiring and existing social entrepreneurs, as well as organizations keen on fostering social enterprise growth. The mission is to raise awareness and support for social entrepreneurship across the nation.

raiSE partnered with Consulus to address the need for greater inclusivity in business practices. Consulus employed the Operations Pivot, a specialized module under the Future Resilience by Design solution, which focuses on organizational culture and brand experience through strategic planning, research, and workshops. The primary objective was to develop a toolkit grounded in the 16 Universal Design Principles and aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This toolkit aimed to guide businesses in making their products and services more inclusive.

The collaboration resulted in a practical toolkit that guides businesses to adopt inclusive practices, which reflects the values of social responsibility and sustainability.
