Wenzao and Consulus Signs Strategic Partnership for Globalization 4.0

Kaohsiung, 18 February 2019 – Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the global innovation consultancy firm Consulus for Wenzao’s transformation for Globalization 4.0 aimed at shaping Wenzao’s graduates who are purpose-driven, creative, competent and global ready to work for Taiwanese Organizations and Enterprises to be ready for Industry 4.0. The university will play an active role in turning Kaohsiung into a bilingual hub and will develop strategic action plans in accordance with the Southbound Policy of the central government.

The partnership was officially signed today at Wenzao in Kaohsiung. Prof. Margaret Mei-Hua Chen, President of Wenzao and Mr. Lawrence Chong, Group Chief Executive Officer of Consulus represented the two organizations. Representatives of Consulus also include Helena Pham, Consulus’s partner in Vietnam, Dr. Paolo Frizzi from Italy, Consulus’s regional director for Europe and Americas, Vincent Chee, the deputy director for design, Sharon Kam, head for creative strategies, and Kannon Kwan, Senior Consultant of Consulus.

Following this partnership, Consulus will conduct a series of training at Wenzao to introduce creative and business design methodologies of Consulus that will instill principles of Ursuline education spirits, catholic social teaching, organizational purpose and unity to shape a global growth program. Faculty and staff will be trained in the methodologies of Consulus that are values-centered. As a result of this partnership, Wenzao and Consulus will work together to serve promising Taiwanese organizations and enterprises to help them harness Industry 4.0 opportunities creatively and expand globally.

And finally, to shape a new global growth program/network, which is built on Wenzao’s proprietary insights and competitive strengths, and to create a platform for international exchange and cooperation for our nation and our city. We look forward to a future, with every confidence in its fruitful outcome, and also ready for the next Renaissance of Wenzao.”, Prof. Margaret Mei-Hua Chen, President of Wenzao said.
