4 tracks that took place during the summit
The Shape the World Summit featured various themes over the years, such as Designing Sustainable and Smart Cities and Designing a More Equitable Economic System. Notably, this marked the first occasion that the summit was held in Sarawak.
That year, the theme was “Future Resilience by Sustainability”. The event was held at the Pullman Hotel in Kuching and was attended by 400 leaders from around the world from the business, non-profit, and public sectors.
The regional business and non-profit leaders, along with government leaders in Sarawak, covered topics based on the Future Resilience by Design framework:

He was previously the Director, Economic Planning Unit Sarawak, a senior Finance lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, and the Special Administrative Officer to the Right Honourable Chief Minister of Sarawak.
