Medical Innovation inspired by Lao Ideas and Creatively Presented to the World
Project aim
Overview
The project utilized the Future Resilience by Design solution with the objective of positioning PDC3 as a leading state enterprise in Laos’ pharmaceutical industry, with products that could be sold across ASEAN and global markets. The goal was to establish a modern production and services base, ensure satisfactory client service, and strengthen the company’s financial position by increasing revenue.
Consulus was tasked with creating a business development plan to help PDC3 become the number one pharmaceutical manufacturer in Laos, enhance its product image and reputation, and boost sales and profit margins annually. Additionally, human resource development was prioritized to support these growth targets.
Extensive research was conducted with customers, suppliers, and staff, which led to the development of a comprehensive five-year business plan and the establishment of standard operating procedures for various departments. Implementation training for staff, alongside the development of operational and marketing tools, were key components of the project, laying the groundwork for PDC3’s eventual overseas expansion despite fierce regional competition.
