Singapore, 5th September 2017: Continuing its relentless pace of global expansion and driven by its missionary sense of urgency to help companies transfigure to meet the challenges of industry 4.0, Consulus has appointed two senior business leaders who will establish Consulus in India.

“We have tried to expand into India three times since 2008 because of the historical importance of the country, and we felt that our solution of unity will find a natural home in the country. And true enough, the right leaders had to come along for a continent that is so special. Under the leadership of Tom and Verghese, with their years of experience and spiritual sensitivity to the needs of our time, this essential work of helping thousands of companies will be led by — Indians for India in unity with our global family that is present from Argentina to Vietnam,” said Lawrence Chong, CEO of Consulus

“Given that Consulus’ central mission is to help organisations transform and shape the world, India is a market we cannot ignore. Amidst the global political uncertainty and challenges faced by established economies, India is a shining star. With a young, diverse and vibrant population, India is expected to overtake China as the most populated country in ten years’ time and in three decades, it is postulated that the largest democracy in the world will also be the largest economy,” said Rita King, Director for Strategy and Moderator for South Asia Regional Circle at Consulus.

“We decided to reach out to Consulus, as we saw it is a Global Consulting Company with a difference.  Industry 4.0 is bringing massive disruption to industries, especially sectors of IT and manufacturing in India. Quite often, jobs are sacrificed as companies re-invent themselves. This goes against the very aim of entrepreneurs and companies creating jobs so as to lift people from the vicious cycle of poverty.  The Consulus method is one where all stakeholders work in unity as they embrace change. There are no losers and everyone is a winner, and in fact the Consulus model is to give back to the bottom of the pyramid.  This is a difference from traditional consulting companies approach and why we chose to reach out to them. We are excited to be selected as the India partner for Consulus and look forward to implementing their learnings and proven methodologies for organisational transformation towards Industry 4.0 in diverse economies such as Brazil, Argentina, Singapore, Italy, Vietnam and Sri Lanka to India. We are very happy to join the Consulus family today,” said Tom and Verghese, Senior Consultants for Consulus India

Consulus India will be based out of Bangalore and will be part of the South Asia Zone in Consulus which now includes Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka.
