Helena Pham, Director at Consulus Vietnam, has delivered a guest lecture on the 3 insights for Vietnamese FMCG exports to shape the consumer world to 3rd year students specialised in International Business at RMIT University Vietnam in Hanoi yesterday.
According to Consulus, the 3 insights include:
- Excite the palates of the Global Consumer, who are attracted to the Asian tastes, spurred by travel experiences
- “Dare to Dream” that the Vietnamese Cultural roots are the springboard to the Global platform
- Collaborations with suitable global or regional partners through synergistic joint ventures or co-marketing/ distribution rights

All students were also invited to work in group to develop ideas and solutions to transform the product formula and product packaging of the unique products of Vietnam, including green bean cake (bánh đậu xanh), sweet potato dried (khoai lang sấy) and clove bud eugenia tea (nước vối).
