Lawrence Chong, CEO at Consulus, has been invited to participate in the KAICIID Dialogue Centre’s Global Forum which will deliberate on the theme – The Image of the Other: Interreligious and Intercultural Education. The KAICIID Forum, taking place in Vienna from 18 to 19 November, will bring together 400 thought leaders from intercultural and interreligious education, government officials and eminent religious figures. They will discuss the global challenge of finding ways to responsibly educate young people so they may more accurately understand and depict people of other religions and cultures. In addition to participating at this forum, Lawrence who serves on the Asian Council on Religions for Peace will participate at the General Assembly of Religions for Peace which will take place on 20-23 November. That meeting will see the the Austrian capital host up to 800 key figures from the worlds of religion and education.
