Singapore (25 July 2019) – 200 guests from different nationalities, countries and companies gathered to attend Consulus’ 15th Anniversary and Shape the World Summit Gala Dinner event on the 21st June 2019. The event that served as a conclusion to the summit, as well as a celebration of the Company’s 15th-year milestone, was held at the Fairmont Singapore.
In ‘Shape The World’, a book given out to each guest at the Gala, the word “Unity” was used to summarise Consulus’ entire journey and experience. Unity is what Consulus credits for its rapid growth over the last 15 years.
The Guest-of-Honor, Bishop Miguel Ayuso, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, gave a speech highlighting the importance of unity and working together towards a common goal.
“We are spending I think 75% of our time in our company work at the workplace. [If] we transform our place of work by living together: creating a family spirit; working together in implementing our projects; our expectations, we will be able to live in such a brotherly spirit that we will have all energies for promoting our common good as a company and [for implementation] through our work, our innovation in bettering our world around us… I take this occasion [to invite you to] be cooperative… work together hand-in-hand, side-by-side, shoulder-to-shoulder. This is the key for our future: when we have this possibility of living together. Then the 75% of the time I have will be for the good of the company, for our good, for our growth, and for bettering our world. And this will be a real contribution for changing the world,” Bishop Miguel Ayuso said.
Stanislav Lencz, a Senior Consultant from Consulus, who will be leading Consulus Slovakia after its official launch later this year, shared his experience of the night.
“What touched me was that so many people came: so many senior and wise people gathered to celebrate and speak words of appreciation for the uniqueness of the Consulus journey, which touched and transformed their professional and personal lives! In a fully phenomenological and experiential way, and perhaps thanks to a particular grace, Consulus discovers, lives and codifies into methodologies and everyday life the very same principles which are moving the epoch change we assist. For me, these are the call for a true servant leadership; for identity found in purposeful living for others and recomposing the social fabric; for inclusive actions in which diversity is a gift and colours the solutions to the most urgent challenges we face; for a professionalism which blossoms in humility, leadership and dynamic relations which bring a true unity,” Mr Lencz said.
Sindavanh Manivong, Consulus Laos Country Director, also shared her thoughts.
“This significant event showed me the journey of Consulus with others during 15 years which confirm the power of unity and purpose-driven consulting to shape the better world. Consulus has created the peerless platform for CEOs to rebrand the angst of disruption into a winning call for differentiation as an agile organisation that is ready for challenges and competitive forces, ” Ms Manivong said.
During the Gala Dinner, Consulus also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Raffles College of Higher Education to introduce professional and leadership development courses to help individuals, enterprises and organisations to transfigure for Industry 4.0 opportunities.
