Lawrence Chong, CEO and co-founder of Consulus, told NewsBase that excessive government intervention was not good for the oil and gas sector but added that, given the global industry’s current crisis and the uncertain near-term future of the government, there seemed to be little other choice.
Consulus would like to clarify that it is in a working partnership with Jarken and there is no corporate merger taking place.
In comments to NewsBase, Lawrence Chong, CEO of Consulus shared that it is natural that Thailand should be cautious, bearing in mind that Iran [oil exports are] coming on line, too, and global sentiment remains weak for the sector.
