CEO of Consulus spoke at the “Marketing in the Age of Design and Disruption” in Sri Lanka

Yesterday, CEO of Consulus, Mr Lawrence Chong, shared his insights and advice with 75 Marketing Directors and Managers in Sri Lanka at a talk titled “Marketing in the Age of Design and Disruption”. The event was organised by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) – Sri Lanka Region, at Hilton Colombo.

Lawrence shared about how marketing remains fundamental but it needs to reshape its role to move beyond practice and towards inspiring purpose-driven actions. To inspire change, marketing practitioners need to be inclusive and include practitioners of other disciplines such as human resource and finance.

Through sharing of case examples of how Consulus worked with marketing directors to shape change, Lawrence shared practical tips on how marketing when evolved into a change-maker role can have a substantive impact on the longevity of the organisation.
