SINGAPORE, 22nd January 2025 – Consulus proudly welcomes Ex-Consulite Pamela Suen who returns as the Global Director of Shape the World Xperiences, a sub-division of Consulus that focuses on championing impact causes and societal growth through organising and managing changemaking business summits and conferences. She has 15 years of marketing and branding expertise in Singapore and New Zealand, and is adept at conceptualising strategy and navigating challenges inherent in projects. She will be based in Auckland.
Pamela started her career as a Strategy Consultant with Consulus back in 2010. She spearheaded her first event at Consulus back in 2011. It was the official launch of MyVillage Shopping Mall at Serangoon Gardens. The event was attended by over 1,000 residents from the community. Pamela was also part of the pioneering team for the opening of Tong Ming Xi Luthier workshop back in 2010, which has now evolved into Global Strings Federation.
At the forefront of shaping changemaking initiatives, Pamela has held significant leadership roles, such as the lead for a New Conservative’s (a New Zealand political party) rebranding campaign in 2022. She was also the lead project manager for myVillage mall’s design & marketing campaigns from 2020 to 2024, at an agency called Fifth March.
“I am pleased to welcome Pamela back, as we said, once a Consulite, always a Consulite. Other than Shape the World Summits that we have organised for 20 years in over 10 countries, this year, for the first time in Europe, we now have mandates to organise four other global events in healthcare, the design industry, interreligious dialogue involving almost 2000 persons spanning Asia and Europe. So it is about time to turn this into a specialised unit. I have faith in Pamela to lead this business unit in a creative way to take our work to a new level.” – Lawrence Chong, Group CEO of Consulus.
“This was the right time, right place, and right season for me. As of now, a few upcoming events are Shape the World Summit in Rome this June, and 14th Design and Health Congress which will be held at Pan Pacific Singapore at the end of October. With fellow Consulites at Consulus, I hope to shape all Changemaker events into one that is both impeccable and memorable.” -Pamela Suen, Global Director, Shape the World Xperiences.
Since 2005, the firm has convened Shape the World Summit and organised other impact-oriented events that helped to forge unity and collaboration with over 6,000 leaders from diverse backgrounds in business, public service, finance, philanthropy, health, and interfaith community. As a sub-division of Consulus, this new business unit will build on the past accolades of Consulus. With an experience of 20 years in running Changemaker events in more than 10 countries including Bangladesh, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Sarawak, Malaysia.
