Our Purpose

Shaping a better and inclusive economy system, by helping leaders, companies, and cities discover their better selves by enabling them to become the difference they are meant to be from the inside out.

Why we do what we do

We exist in an age that more and more people are focusing on doing and sometimes that doing can diminish your own belief and values. At Consulus, we believe that there is a possibility to balance profit and purpose.

We believe a business can be more than a business. A business can make a difference. A lot of our friends work in organisations where they are completely dissatisfied and that dissatisfaction doesn’t come from the lack of money or lack of opportunities. That dissatisfaction comes from the failure to meet their deep desire to do meaningful work, to do work that they believe in.

What excites us since the founding day is that we have been able to help companies to discover that they can do meaningful work by being honest about what they believe in, they can do great work when they recognise that and redesign their business model, their work processes and the way they communicate their beliefs to the market, to customers and all stakeholders. So to us, every project is like a moment of self-discovery and collective discovery. When these two types of discovery happen, it creates magics because people start to realise that “wow, it’s more than just work” and they can actually fulfil their life mission through work and make a living out of it.

The biggest impact that we have made is, when many companies have been measured only based on financial value, we now have created an upward attraction to the value of soft power, it’s the value of communities and relationships, the value of beliefs. Essentially what we are doing with companies during strategic planning exercises is to look beyond the financial numbers, to put the same weightage of importance to relationships, values and beliefs. In returns, this holistic view approach helps companies to achieve even higher financial results because it brings out the greatest creativity in everyone in the company as they feel appreciated, they feel they can be themselves and can contribute exponentially by being themselves.
